Introducing scientific topics to a new generation of engineers
I was commissioned by ETH Zurich, a Swiss science and technology university, to produce a series of seven video explainers to teach the fundamental concepts of physical chemistry to undergraduate engineering students.
The main challenge for this video series was to build a unified visual language that could both be a bit quirky in imagery, while typographically doing some heavy lifting with regards to more complex equations.
All illustrations were made in Illustrator and animated in After Effects; this was also my first project for which I used Boords to compile, export and version-manage my storyboard frames.
